All I Know Of Love

$2.50

SSAATB a cappella + Body Percussion

Written for the E.O. Smith Chamber Singers under the direction of Amanda Hanzlik, I got the chance to collaborate once again with my wife, Stephanie on the text. Based on the poem “That Love is all there is” by Emily Dickinson, this piece explores how one’s relationship to love is influenced by circumstance, perspective, and ultimately, choice. A lilting, rhythmic, almost dance-like verse is contrasted with a more melancholy, dream-like chorus and bridge to create a bittersweet narrative.

Please purchase one copy per singer in your ensemble.
